Movement Guidance

I believe fitness is not just ‘getting your exercise in’. It is about improving performance in sport and life by understanding the unique movement patterns holding you back. How your body moves globally and at each joint; your awareness of your body in space, current exercise routine, seasonal activities, hobbies, and daily movement patterns through work and rest are all important to me. These help us focus on your lifestyle and how to improve upon it to live as active and pain or injury free as possible.

A functional and holistic approach to fitness is key to long term health and vitality. My holistic approach also does not focus on one modality of fitness or piece of equipment. It focuses on the body before me and what it needs to support healthy movement patterns. I use as little equipment as necessary to release, realign and move muscles and fascia efficiently. I also work to provide verbal and manual guidance into correct form, focus on neurological patterning cues to connect your mind and body, and create a fun and safe environment to move your body.

We all have the potential to move pain free, enjoy the art of movement and feel like an athlete!
